ASK DR. SCHELLING

DEAR DR. SCHELLING,

I really liked the informative article you shared in the last Dog Health Newsletter on First Aid for Dogs and was wondering if you had a list of supplies a dog owner should have to make their own kit?

-Jamie

Dear Jamie,

I am happy to hear that you found the First Aid article useful. You can find an article on how to make your own First Aid Kit for Dogs here.

Dear Max,

My humans new roommate has been asking a lot of questions about us dogs and some I know are just rumors, like things about my nose being wet and my tail wagging only meaning I'm happy. I would tell this human the real truth but I haven't mastered English just yet. Could you please set the record straight about these doggy myths?

Dear Sniffing,

I've heard a lot of dog rumors before so I know what you're going through. Which is why my humans and I have complied an article series on Dog Myths and Misconceptions that will debunk the myths and help give our favorite humans the answers they're looking for.

Max's Mini-Reviews

ZANIES BERBER BABIES : The Zanies Berber Babies are almost too cute to chew—just kidding! I don't know any dog who could turn their nose up to these fun fetch toys. After a play filled afternoon, they are the perfect toy to cuddle with in your doggy bed or your humans bed when they're not looking.

DOG SITTER DVD VOLUME ONE : I can't always venture out on my own when I'm feeling the need to be outside. But my humans have figured out a way to keep me active and entertained when they can't let me outdoors, they got me the Dog Sitter DVD. It has everything I love—there are birds, squirrels, raccoons, and even cats and other dogs! It's the next best thing to being outside when I'm not able to roam alone.
